Makan-makan di Kuantan

Busy giler tak sempat aku nak update. Last week serabut dengan assignment dan training. Memang jiwa kacau. Tapi alhamdulillah tak pening kepala. Cuma penat dan lesu jek rasa badan. Tak abis-abis perkataan letih dan penat kan, dah bertahun-tahun blogging aku rasa that is the most mentioned words in my blog. 

Oh ya, Delinn, aku tak berjaya gi library...(dah agak dah...) aku tido jek pastu buat spring cleaning sket kat dapur. Ed semalam outstation ada event sikit. Aku ingat dia balik malam, so when I heard his voice dalam kol 4 petang gitu, berlari aku bukak pintu. Yey! Hahahaha. Bak kata Anne, cam pengantin baru jek.  Tapi disebabkan dia balik awal, project spring cleaning aku tak sempat siap. But eventually siap jugak. Impressed jek Ed tu masuk dapur.  Berapa kali dia tegur. entah. Muahahahha nampak sangat malas menyental dapur.

Anyways berbalik kepada tajuk asal. Last weekend aku balik Kuantan. Ada wedding. Aku amek leave on Friday. So we went back pagi tu. Rilex driving jek sebab wedding tu hari Sabtu. Pergilah rumah abang aku kat sana. Masa masuk bandar Kuantan tu, aku dengan Ed was amused with signboard kat tepi jalan sekitar Kuantan. Memang unik. Aku sempat amek dua jek. Klik gambar tu untuk baca signboard kalau nampak.

Aku kalau balik Kuantan. Akan cuba pergi makan-makan. Banyak tempat-tempat yang memang aku suka since dari kekecik lagi. Most of it are still operating. Nampak sangat memang ada pelanggan tetap. Petang tu kami pergi Taman Gelora nak makan Rojak ayam dekat gerai Pak Lah.  Sekali tutup daaa hari Jumaat. Selalunya either aku makan rojak ayam kat Gerai Pak Lah tu atau nasi ayam kat kedai sebelah Pak Lah. Actually Pak Lah tu pun ada nasi ayam, but I like kedai sebelahnya better.

Arghhh kuciwanya. Lepas tu teringat pulak, Mee Kari dari Planet Curry di Kubang Buaya. Yeaahh. So off we went to Kubang Buaya, alhamdulillah buka. We ordered the Mee Kari Extra/Special.  With extra of everything. Yumm. I think rasanya kurang sikit dari dulu. Or maybe sebab ada sambal dalam tu so extra pedas. Maybe adek aku selalu beli mintak asingkan sambal kot.

Anyways lepas tu kami pergi ke East Cost Mall untuk beli wedding gift untuk cousin aku. Terpusing-pusing tengok nak beli apa, last-last beli oven kecik toaster tu. My mum called kata nak dinner sama-sama dan dia akan arrive di Kuantan dalam pukul 9.30 malam. So aku pergilah ke the favorite place untuk makan-makan which is Marina Restoran di Tanjung Lumpur. Specialty di sini ialah Ketam Telur Masin. So we ordered, ikan bakar, ketam telur masin, tomyam campur, udang pedas, sotong celup tepung dan kailan ikan masin. One thing, kat sini kalau ko order tomyam 3 orang makan, dia bagi tiga mangkuk berisi tomyam medium size. So banyak gakler hari tu. Another thing, jangan ingat makan-makan di Kuantan ni murah. Terkezut karang bila bayar. So bila order berpada-pada ok. Takdela murah cam kat Kuala Perlis ok. 

Esoknya as always, aku pesan kat abang aku pegi belikan nasi lemak Zaman. Pehh sedap as always. Roti canai kat situ pon best. Tapi kalau nak makan roti canai. Tak best tapaw. Abang aku cakap beratur cam haper jek kat zaman tu. One thing about Kuantan especially tempat yang ramai orang cam Pak Soh, Marina dan a few places more, mannerism cam haram. Menyampah aku, tak yah la eksyen sangat kan. Benci tau. 

Lunch was at the wedding lah kan. Sedap nasi hujan panasnya dan ikan pekasamnya. Tak berbau sangat dan tak masin. Cakap pasal ikan pekasam, anak buah aku cakap "busuknya, nenek goreng apa tu, bau macam ta*k" muahahhahahhaha. Aku gelak sakit perut masa tu. Lepak-lepak dengan cousin aku. Lama gile aku tak balik Kuantan. About 8 months kot.

After that, emmm pegi mana ek? Aaaa dah kenyang-kenyang tu, aku dengen Ed dan ayah aku pegi ke Tanjung Lumpur again. sebab nak beli kuih. Mula-mula berhenti dekat Pak Soh beli keropok lekor dan sata. Otak-otak dah habis. Hmmm keropoknya dah tak sesedap dulu dah. Then we went to another stall, dekat juga dengan Marina tu untuk beli temosa. Alaa karipap yang inti sambal kelapa tu. Karipap biasa pon asda gak. Beli sekali ikan dan udang celup tepung. Oh ya aku lupa sebenarnya sebelum sampai Tanjung Lumpur kami pergi beli puding raja dekat Restoran Arfa dekat dengan Sri Malaysia. Puding raja ni resepi diraja Kerabat Diraja Pahang. Yummmm.. So giler banyak makanan dan makan sampai ke dinner ulang-ulang. Oh ya makanan ni tak ler untuk aku dengan Ed dua orang je. Giler jinke hantu raya diorang ni kan? Ada ramai ler jugak dekat rumah my bro tu.

The afternoon tea spread. Alhamdulillah atas rezeki yang Allah beri

Oh malam tu, aku dan anak-anak buah buit kuih bom. Actually kuih bom ni macam cucur badak la cuma intinya sardin la.. Bebudak tu rajen menolong dan suka. Dah memalam sikit diorang mintak aku buatkan omelette. Si abang kata, omelette cekna jarang tak sedap. Pandai jek nak ngampu aku. 

Sunday morning, aku dan bapak aku ke Tanjung Api pulak. Aku nak beli lauk-lauk basah sikit. This is one activity that I like to do with my dad. My mum tak pernah ikut beli lauk. Ed pon tak ikut selalunya. Kalau aku tak pergi, bapak aku pergi sorang jek.  Tanjung Api ni, macam kuala la, tempat the boat naikkan hasil tangkapan. Dekat situ boleh beli ais, gabus ice box macam-macam saiz nak isi lauk-lauk. Complete. Aku beli ketam 3 ekor, ikan kerisi 3 ekor, ikan bawal hitam 3 ekor, udang XL dan sedang sekilo each  (kongsi dgn bapak aku), sotong bapak besar 2 ekor.  Bapak aku aku cakap ikan kerisi dan bawal laut cina selatan ni isi nya lain sikit. Putih dan sedap sangat. I agree with him. Lauknya tuh tak abis lagi sampai hari ni. Tapi rasa masih lagi fresh, walaupun dah seminggu.

Lepas dah pack lauk-lauk dan beli ais, kami ronda-ronda dekat restoran-restoran dekat-dekat situ. Yey, jumpa nasi minyak gulai ayam favorite aku. So aku beli nasi minyak, dan roti canai untuk anak-anak buah aku. Bapak aku pulak pergi beli nasi dagang kat gerai lain. Bila aku sampai situ nampak ada laksam, dan laksa jugak/ So belikan laksa 2 bungkus. Best2. This is breakfast Kuantan style. Ada satu gerai dekat Kubang Buaya tu, dia actually ala-ala agen la niagakan makanan yang orang-orang hantar. Selalunya mesti ada nasi lemak, nasi minyak, nasi dagang, nasi impit kuah kacang, nasi impit dengan sambal, karipap, temosa, laksa, takde la gerai-gerai camtu kat KL ni. 1 gerai berlambak choice gitu kan.

So tu jelah update makan-makan. Giler naik 2 kg gamaknya selepas balik dari Kuantan. Tak sempat pon nak gi Pantai. Lagipun cam ngeri sket nak gi nengok Pantai lepas tsunami bebaru ni kan. Ombak kat taman gelora hari tu pon kan main bergulung-gulung lagi. Ngeri aku nengoknya. 

Ok, so kalau gi Kuantan jgn lupa makan-makan kat tempat yang aku mentioned tu. The following are few other places yang aku akan frequent kalau balik Kuantan.

• Clear tomyam at Patani. Kaler nya clear jek, tak ler kaler oren or kemerahan.  Sila try nasi papriknya jugak, very different from nasi paprik yang dimakan di KL nih.
• Chicken Chop John di TC
• Laksa Penang dekat pasar
• Mini murtabak dekat Pasar Malam Bandar
• Nasi dengan lauk-pauk Maria. Dulu dekat bus stand now depan TNB
• Nasi dan ikan patin tak ingat nama kedainya apa, di Bukit Sekilau
• Otak-otak, sata, colek-colek dan kuih-muih di Tanjung Lumpur. Antara location, Pak Soh, Mok Na dan few more other places. But Pak Soh's quality of keropok dan otak cam decline sket la lately. Abang aku cakap ada tempat lain yang lagi sedap. 

Kalau ada orang Kuantan nak add apa-apa silalah inform ye. Ni semua tempat-tempat lama. I have not really lived in Kuantan semenjak aku bekerja di KL in 2001. So for the past 10 years takde kot tempat-tempat baru yang aku explore. Pak Soh dan Marina je kot tempat baru. Yang lain-lain memang tempat lama. 

Ok people, hope you enjoyed my updates. Maybe leh buat panduan kalau datang Kuantan. Lambat lagi kot update. Ada 4 slides nak kena buat, dan macam2 lagi. Study progress pon tak buat lagi ni. Next week busy sangat. Tapi ada hati nak keluar jugak nih. hehehe. Take care people.

Ngantuk gilerr

Ngantuk giler laaa. Aku tengah buat assignment ni. Menguap setiap 20 saat rasanya. Giler kecik tulisan journal ni. Ada can kena pakai spek lepas habis master nanti. Baru sem pertama cenna, ko dah berangan habis master. Hahhaha. Berangan tu kan penting. 

Semalaman ni perut tak sedap. Senak semacam jek. Banyak sangat makan kot, muahahaha. So lambat start buat assignment. Yes, I am full of excuses. A'ment dah bg 2 minggu. Baru terhegeh-hegeh nak buat. Itupun nasib baik dah mula sikit-sikit. Oren, aku dah log journal yang ko email dekat aku tu dalam aku punya Literature Review. Aku punya assignment minggu ini. Takat nak log, tajuk, problem statement dan hypothesis tu ok lagi, tang validation, performance measurement, strength and weaknesses memang haru. Tak paham. Hahahha. 

Last weekend aku balik Kuantan. Acara biasa bila balik Kuantan ialah makan dan mandi air terjun. Kali ni tak mandi air terjun. Tak sempat, tapi tang makan tu, sempaaaatttt je. Oklah korang, dah berair-air mata dan hidung nih. Nak solat jap, dan cuba baca at least 1 more journal. Hmmm pukul berapa nak tidur nih?

Note : Masa balik kerja aku singgah kat cobbler near Giant tu. Alang2 dah sampai aku belilah roti dan barang dapur sikit. Masuk jek lif dekat rumah aku, terserempak dengan Ed. Ada orang lain gak dalam lif tu. Dia amekkan plastik-plastik barang dapur yang aku tengah pegang tu. Dia tanya, aku dari mana, ke dia tak tanya aaa? Anyways aku jawab laa.

Aku : Gi Giant tadi. Gi baiki kasut kat cobbler tu. Tak siap hari ni. Esok baru boleh amek.

Ed : Gi baiki kasut dapat roti ke? (sambil pandang plastik beg and its content)

Aku : Muahahhah. (Dem..) Ada pakejla baiki kasut dapat roti, dapat nugget..macam-macam.. ( gelak sambil cubit Ed. Suka tau kenakan aku cam tu.)

Mamat yang dalam lif tu, sengih jek sambil tahan gelak dan keluar dari lif kat level berapa tah. Sure dia citer kat bini dia balik tu. Hampess..

Baca journal?

As-Salam, here I am putting up a post at 4 am. Adoih. Tidor awal tadi lepas maghrib dalam kol 8 lebih dah tidor. Mengantuk, penat sumer ada. Ed woke me up at 1 am soh solat Isyak. (makan apa la si Ed dinner tu. Syian). Aku pon terpisat-pisat ler bangun dan solat. Lepas solat, aku makan roti jap dan gosok baju. Pastu masuk bilik, adoih camana nak tidur ni. I have this habit, kalau dah tidur awal dan terjaga tengah malam aku payah nak tidor balik. Kekadang sampai pagi la gitu.

I told myself, aku tau ubat tido paling mujarab. Baca journal! Muahahhaa. Dan buat literature review (LR). Sure ngantuk punya kan. Tulisan dah ler kecik-kecik. Oh ya, aku dah request 3 journal dari Oren. Puas aku carik email address dalam email yahoo tuh. Rasanya pernah communicate via email sebelum nih. Muahahha mana nak jumpa email ko Oren oi. Email address tu sehal lah kan. Nama pulak Jagung! Letakla Oren, senang aku nak search, ni letak Jagung?!! Memang la ko obses dengan buah, muahhaha. 

Back to the journal reading. Aku amek satu jelah journal, sure aku tertidor tak dan habis baca semuka surat pun kan. Baca sambil baring atas katil dan bukak bedside lamp jek. You know what? Aku tak tidur pon. In fact tetiba aku dapat a moment of clarity. Something that I haven't had often since I started my masters nih. Maybe berkat doa si Ed semalam, minta aku diberi kesabaran, kefahaman dan semangat untuk terus belajar. Allah makbulkan kot. Alhamdulillah. Macam jelas gila apa yang dibaca. So I got up amek, aku punya pencilbox. Tanda sana tanda sini. Mula-mula ingat nak transfer the notes besok je. Tapi memikirkan I am sure gonna forget it tomorrow. Might as well I log it now jek. Rugi pulak kalau tak manfaatkan betul-betul. Terus amek notebook kat luar bilik, dok balik atas katil besides Ed yang maybe tengah  mimpi jadik Juara All England tu, on my notebook dan log my notes. Pastu tetiba buat update kat blog, pasal apa pon tataww... hahhahaha.

I have always been like that. Jenis yang memang suka berjaga malam. I got a bad side lamp dan laptop light so that kalau aku nak membaca aku tak kacau Ed yang nak tidur  dalam gelap. Owh did I tell you, untuk baca novel pon aku ada lampu khas? Muhahahhah. Over gile kan. Nanti aku amek gambar lampu-lampu nih. Berjaga malam ni a bad habit that I cannot break. Kat U pon camnih. Not that good for my health. Maybe sebab tu aku selalu pening kepala. Tapi kannnnn, dah almost 2 weeks jugak aku tak pening kepala dan actifast aku tak berusik. Sebab? Boss takde. Muahahhha.  Memang sahih, terang dan nyata, dialah penyebab sakit kepala tuh. Muahahhahaha. 

Sure kepala aku ting-tong sket besok ni. Dah la tomorrow's gonna be a long day. Masuk kerja seblom kol 8 sebab nak blah awal gi jumpa SV at 5. Balik malam lak tuh lepas kelas. Takpelah. At least LR aku bergerak. Dan assignment aku moving as well. Oklah korang aku nak habiskan logging my LR. Weekend ni balik Kuantan kot. Tah bila nak update lagi. Take care you all.

Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa The Movie - A Review

3 updates in 2 days? Bior betul? Yes, I know it's very rare of me updating my blog as frequent as this. But I can't help it. I need to share it, now!

I went to watch Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa at IOI Puchong. Even though the hype was not that big for the movie, we went anyways, since we know that KRU rarely let us down. I intended to watch it at Alamanda. Almost all shows are full, up till midnight. Sigh. So we watched it at IOI instead. We missed I guess around 10 minutes. Adoila frust betul. Salah sendiri lah. Lambat sangat bersiap. 

I give an overall verdict lah ye. Kalau cerita lebih-lebih, tak thrill lah korang nak tengok. So I would not go plot by plot lah. I think it deserve 4 stars rating. Actually I could give the movie maybe 4.5 if it's not for the archimedes bit. Adoilah. Frust aku. Gaya nak conclude cepat jek at that scene.

Dari segi lakonan. Mostly best berlakon. Umee Nazeera ada cam terover sikit, in a few part. Less is more right. This is a movie, not a theater, right Part dia perhatikan Merong masa Merong nak berlepas di celah-celah orang tu, was beautiful. She looked the part. Sesuai rupa dia untuk part tu, cuma entahlah, she lacked some depth kot. Another actress, there's one part where Nell Ng, ada cakap cam Singlish lak aku dengar. Spoil.

Stephen Rahman Hughs was great, not exactly superb but great nonetheless. Dato' Rahim Razali best jugak. Very cryptic, the words which came from his mouth. If anyone can pulled that kinda script, its him. What caught my eye was Marcus who was played by Gavin Stenhouse. I think the role would have been really boring if it was not played superbly by him. It's enough of everything. I guess maybe because I don't really like superhuman/superheroes-I- am-not afraid-of-anything kinda role; so the Merong part does not appeal to me. Maybe that's why Marcus role really speaks to me. A prince but with fear and apprehension but not too much. Everything was in sufficient moderation. Just nice. 

Khir Rahman was superb as well. My husband, Mr Dream always called him Tun Mamat, the role he played in Puteri Gunung Ledang. He was vicious, cruel and fought like a true villain. Dasyat. No wonder he is in good movies one after the other. 

Craig Fong was a great admiral as well. He was Cleo's Most Eligible Bachelor winner, some time ago right? If only his role and Gavin were more. Should be more interesting. I remembered I was really glad to see when they both came back later in the movie.

The princess reminds me a bit of Lucy Liu. But not too much. I like her sweet raspy voice. The brief love story brought into the movie was really needed. Imagine if there's no love  story in this movie. Boring. If only there's a scene of Marcus and the princess getting married, owh bestnya! Oh ya, the soundtrack was great as well

Only 2 things that I don't like; sometimes the fight scene way too fast, and looked not humanely possible. Another part is, yes the archimedes part. Why oh why do you have to have that part? Why??

Hey I'm spoiling this for you! Okay, I won't tell you more. You have to watch it yourself. Money well spent. Not a dull moment, I promised you. You'll go out of the cinema feeling proud of this Malaysian movie. I kid you not. You will feel proud. Jangan lupa, pergi tengok cepat!

Beggin' by Madcon - My current fav

I am currently in love with this song. Heard this song on Bulletin Utama in one of the segment just now.  I was trying to listen to the lyrics, apa yang disebut tuh, so that I can find the song on the net. All that I got was, Baby, baby blue and the rest was a blur as they fade the sound during the segment. But I put myself to the test and googled. My search brought me to other stupid songs. So I changed my keyword and the found someone, who asked who sang that song Baby, baby blue. 

Guess what? It wasn't even the right lyrics! Hahaha. Someone corrected him, and said he thought it was Baby, baby blue as well. Later he found out it was Beggin', Beggin you. So that's how I found the song was from Madcon titled Beggin from Norway. (I don't really follow music right now. But for the music that I like, I really make an effort to find who sings it and so on.) It was a remake of 1960s song Frankie Vallie.

Oh the American Idols season 2009 top 5-10 sang this a group as well. Awesome too. Comel jek dance sikit2 towards the end of the clip. Macam group yang dance in the 60s gitu. Excuse the quality. Amateur recording kot.

Matta Fair - 2011

I went to Matta Fair this morning. Went there with my bro and sis in law. We planned to arrived at the fair before 10. Cheewaahh, so that we would already be there, when it opens. Yeah, right. The traffic was really bad, going into KL. Maybe it's Matta Fair, maybe because it was raining. Anyways we eventually reached PWTC errr around 12! So much, for arriving before it opens. Anyways, this is my 3rd consecutive year going. So I already know the drill. Go and pay enterance fee RM3, the'll give you a bag, and you can start browsing. 

We went to the first hall, which is the domestic packages. Gila pack. Macam tak boleh jalan, so we decided to go to international hall, which is located across the river. I kid you not. Memang kena merentasi sungai baru sampai. I mean thru the linkbridge lah, takdelah kena mengharung sungai. I noticed that the river looked nicer this year. Maybe it has been reconstruct and looks now like a rapid/jeram. Cantik pulak. 

At the international  hall, it's not too pack. Bolehla jalan. We went to the first counter, and ask about the tickets that my bro required, and alhamdulillah we got a great bargain for it. They almost wants to buy online before this, again praise to God that has brought us to Matta Fair and got a much..much better deal. 

After that we tried and browse around for a while, until my feet hurts in order to compare prices. But we later went back to the first travel agent, since she has the best  offer After paying, we walk back to the domestic hall.  Ingat nak balik terus, but we thought, we were already there. Why not we just browse a little. Iyerla tu browse aje. Kopak duit aku beli pakej domestic pulak. 

But you know what, I don't regret it. I'm looking forward to it. Money well spent. Errr maybe not the right term. Hahaha. We went back to the mall, ate a superb mee bandung at the food court(tapi sikit sangat.. tak cukup! Tengah layan pedas-pedas tu sekali dah habis. Potong betul) and went back. Masa nak balik, we walked thru Parkson, aduh cantik-cantiknya handbag di situ. If I don't have to go back to the office, I'm sure I would have bought another handbag. Another handbag?? As if you don't have enough.

Note : Ada cerita bodoh dekat PWTC berkaitan pameran slimming package. Hahaha. I will save that story for another entry at another blog.

Depressed?

Aku memang rasa-rasa cam nak lemas dalam lautan kerja ni. Memang aku rasa overwhelm sikit. Tak reti nak handle. Hari tu aku cakap kat mak aku jugak pasal ni. Asyik sakit kepala hari-hari mana tahan kan. 

Tadi Ed balik kerja awal. Aku memula ingat nak stay back buat literature review sikit walaupun kepala dah start sakit. Dengar jek Ed dah balik awal (which is rare) terus aku shut down notebook, gi solat dan balik. 

Sampai je rumah. Aku letak baju kat mesin jap. Tengah-tengah tengok TV kejap dengan Ed, aku cakap kat dia, aku penat, aku lapar dan aku depress. Naper com depress. Entahla aku sebenarnya tatau nak cakap kenapa rasa depress. Maybe sebab banyak sangat kerja. Dan belajar pulak nih. Dah banyak hari membuka notebook sambil Ed tidor sebelah aku. Kekadang tu balik rumah dan malam pon, lepas mandi, solat dan makan, bukak balik notebook. Mana tak depress. Tidor pulak pukul 2.30 gitu. Memang ler boleh depress. Kalau bukak notebook pastu blogging tak pe gak .. Blogger tegar, dasar sangat kan....hahhaha

So tadi lepas mandi aku dan Ed gi dinner kat Al-Abraj. Dah lama order baru nak cakap yang chicken mandy tu habis. Kenapa baru nak cakap, dek? aku tanya waiter tu. Hmm. So makan chicken hanith dan mango juice. Kaw. Sedap.  Ed makan shish tawook (ayam dia sedap  gak marinatenya. Bakar pon cam tak over cook. Still juicy dan kopi Yamani. (aku tak suka, kuat sangat bau buah pelaga. Kalau tergigit;pengsan) and for desert aku try pistachio baklava and almond baklava. Sedap. Kalau panas-panas sedap lagi kot.

Lepas makan, hilang pening, hilang lapar dan..jeng..jeng...jeng hilang depress. Lapar je ker sebenarnya? Muahahhahaha.

So tadi aku terus bukak notebook. Siapkan write-up draft utk chapter 1 and 2 thesis dan email pada supervisor. Yey. Satu mender dah boleh cross dari TO DO LIST aku yang berjela-jela tu. 

Note : Aku patutnya buat entry ke 500 dekat private blog tu. Konon nak buat entry special dan panjang. Mana ader masa daaaa.. Sudahnya berbulan dah tak update kat situ. Hampeh.

iPad - A Belated Review

Assalamualaikum, Yes, guilty. I have been neglecting this blog. Being back to school has made me neglect a lot of other things in my life. Weekends are spent reading journals and researching. (Iyelah tu..).. Anyways, now after reading and logging my journal reading in  literature review table I am going to write a post on iPad. 

Yes I got one.  Even before the iPad arrived in Malaysia officially. I can't believe my luck when I got the iPad in lucky draw when I was in London. I was never ever lucky like that. Anyways, the iPad was flown from London to my office in KL, later. I didn't even knew how to switch it on. But the funny thing is when I ggogled about it, seemed that many people ask this question as well. Ok, so that's the background. I am not too techy, so my review is basically what I encountered totally from my experience. 

Pros 

• Super cool!
• The screen is super smooth and super responsive. Have to read though on how to err navigate the touch screen. The single tap, the double tap, the triple tap, the hold, the squeeze. I wonder if there's more?
• Totally awesome for gaming. You steer the iPad as if you are driving the car, if its a car race game. All the things that iPhone does basically when involved gaming
• Buying games or apps online is a breeze once you setup your apple account
• Apps and games are cheap, you can buy it from USD 0.99
• Its really fast to boot up and shut down
• Identified wireless signal instantly after boot up
• Crystal clear picture. Suddenly all pictures are HD like

 

 Cons

• It does not have usb ports, hence

1. No transferring data, pictures or musics from your thumbrive
2. Have to use the connection cable from your iPad to PC to transfer even a single file, of course then you have to switch on your PC lah.
3. Can't use your broadband dongle, you have to buy a micro-sim. What? Takkan nak ada satu lagi pakej broadband? **pengsan

• Quite heavy. I prefer the size of the Galaxy tab. I can put it in my handbag
• Does not support Flash Player and will not support it
• Certain Java apps can't be played
• Nothing is free. Even PDF reader pon kena beli. Yang free tu, boleh pakai 2-3 kali jek, damn!
• Can't make call.
• Can't multi task. Jangan harap nak bukak tab browser banyak2 and expect that it opens and downloads simultaneously. It opens and downloads one after the other.
• Does not have webcam, so can't video skype with friends

Okay, I am beginning to feel a bit sleepy. So I leave you with this review. Overall it is still a great gadget. Just bear in mind that it's not a replacement for notebook or netbook. It helps you to be mobile. It's great for entertainment (browsing, social network, gaming) but to me it's a poor substitute for a notebook and I think Apple does not have that objectives in mind when they created this iPad. . So if you are buying one, please make sure that you don't have that kind of expectation in mind. 

Exam dan beg jeans tali satu

Alhamdulillah, mid term exam dah lepas maghrib tadi. Boleh jawab ke tak? Errr entah lah korang. Soalan pertama jek dah blurr. I had to skipped that question first, buat yang lain dulu sesambil mulut tak henti-henti berdoa mintak Allah berikan ilham untuk menjawab soalan tu. Tengah-tengah jawab soalan nombor 3 atau 4, tetiba dapat cam ilham sikit untuk soalan nombor 1 tadi. Alhamdulillah. Entahlah betul ke tak jawapan aku tuh. Aku kan, tiap lali nak exam mesti telefon mak aku. Mintak doa ibu. Kesian mak aku, tiap kali exam dia buat sembahyang hajat. Baca yasin. Pastu aku telefon Ed pulak. Dia takde kat rumah, mintak doakan aku jugak. Aku sendiri? Cukup tak berdoa?

Siang tadi aku study dekat library company. I took leave today untuk study, sebab aku haram tak study apa lagi. Semalam aku MC sebab batuk dan lelah, siap kena amek nebulizer lagi. Lepas makan ubat memang pengsan seharian. So dekat library tadi baruler bukak buku. Aku bukan study dekat Uni punya library tapi, office punya. 

Masa tengah study tu ada another colleague aku datang kat meja aku yang tengah study dengan another collegue ni. 

A : Korang ni, semenjak jadik student balik. Ada pencilbox, ada fail, stationary cukup. 

Aku : Heheh biasalah baru semangat sikit.

B : Aku biasa-biasa jek. Arena lagi semangat. Cuba ko bukak pencilbox dia tuh, hahhaha. 

A : Cekna, tak letak ke poster artis dekat fail tu?

Aku : Hahahha, aku masa Form 2 dulu letak poster Ella tau dekat belakang fail aku. Lepas tu aku ada button-button artis jugak, muahahhaha.

A : Pastu pinkan button tu dekat beg jeans kan. Aku ada beg tu! Yang memang talinya satu tu kan. It's a knapsack tapi purposely tali ada satu je kan. 

Aku : Aku ada! Aku ada! Aku ada button Johnny Depp, dan New Kids on The Block hahhahah..

B : Muahahahhaa (gelak sampai tak kuar suara) aku pon ada beg tuh!

Update :

This is the closest that I can find of our beloved beg Jeans Tali satu. Taken from etsy.com. Takdelah sama sangat. If I remembered it well, beg kita tu memang less is more kan. Takde berserabut-serabut with lots of pockets and zip right? And definitely takde ribbon-ribbon right. Mana rock gitu, kan? Pastu takde cerut-cerut gitu, instead ada loooong zip kat belakang beg. Yeahh. Pastu pinkan button-button artis start dari tali satu tu sampai lah ke depan beg. Oh yeah.

Owh Amy, ko ada button Fauziah Latip? Aku ada button Ekamatra ok? Ekamatra!! Remos diorang aku rasa 3 botol hair spray pon tak cukup muahhahha. Kasi canlah, support industri muzik negara. Muahahha. Di sebelah Johnny Depp, New Kids, ada Ekamatra! Apa tema pon aku tatau. Button artis pompuan, tak main okay. Muahahhha.

And we talked about the rave those days. Kain steng. kasut BM2000, remos (tatau lah camana nak eja, jambul tinggi tu, aku dulu siap pakai hair spray tuh, omigod)..Kelakar kalau ingat balik. Yelah aku pakai tudung pon form 3 or form 4 kot. Sebelum tu kan main lagilah bergaya nya. Bergaya lah tu kalau ikut definition aku. Masa zaman tu kalau ada orang kaler rambut gi sekolah, orang sumer pandang semacam jek, muahahhaha. Hbaih terer la tuh. Zaman sekarang budak kecik pon bersepah kaler rambut.

Agaknya aku nih tua kot. Suka sangat reminisce cerita lama. Hahaha. Sekarang nak mana nak carik beg jeans tali satu tuh? Hahahhah sure takde dah jual. Korang ada?
