How to get more traffic to your blog : Tips 6

I found it so ironic that, I don't practice what I write on the tips so far, hence explaining my pathetic traffic. Hahahha. But I will still write! I know if people do use the tips they can get the traffic that they want. I guess I have 4 more tips to go before I am closing his topic. You can read the earlier tips from labels on the right hand menu. Okey next tip is : 

Update your blog every day

Muahahhaha, I know, I know I don't practice what I preach, but I learned from my readings  that all bloggers who are making big bucks with Nuffnang  or other ad companies and  get tonnes of traffic, update their blog almost every day. Sometimes few times a day. Damn, banyaknya idea.

Simple math is this, whenever you post an update, and you update your post at geng blogger, innit or go blogwalking while leaving a trace of your latest post, you can see the spike in your traffic right? For me, I update every other day. The day I post my posting will have a huge gap on the traffic with the day that I don't..Hishh apa cakap belit-belit ni. Owhh you know what I mean. 

So friends, try to update as often as you can. If you are a well known or a prominent blogger who already have loyal followers, update seminggu sekali pon tak apa. But for us who are still new in blogging world, or are really in the early stage of establishing followers or readers, kenalah update sekerap mungkin. Bosanlah orang kan, baru nak get to know us, asyik takde update jek, after a while they won't come back. And of course, updates must be berkualiti as well.

How to get more traffic to your blog : Tips 5

I'd love to update but time is really not on my side. Updating now, whilst waiting for a call. Too much happening at the office has deterred my will to write. Nak menulis the next tips pon dah terganggu momentum. I don't know how people can squeeze time. At current, malam pon buat kerja. Work is killing me now. Serabut jiwa raga.  And I guess my theme for this blog has also played a hand in my semangat and the content I intend to write.

Tips 5 : The theme  of your blog is important, if you have few blogs. 

You can't be writing the same thing on each blog, right. Yes, you probably have different visitors and readers for your different blog, but you may have the same people. One blog you can write your daily happenings, but another two blogs? Takkan about your life jugak? How many life do you have? How interesting can your life be?

So the theme must help you in writing especially if you have multiple blogs. One of it writes about your life, another about travel, another about earning extra income, another about your hobby, hahah just a suggestion. If not you will run out of things to write. And when you run out of things to write, you won't update your blog as frequently. And when you don't update your blog frequently, you will loose your visitors and readers since they wont come and visit as frequently.

Waah I have completed another tips without intending to.. Hahahha.

Okay, let's go to the 4th tips of How to get more traffic on your blog;

Write about how to genuinely make money online

People always wanna know about making more money. It'll be more perfect if they can make money by doing the things they love like something from their hobby such as cooking, crafts, blogging etc.  As more Malaysian become connected to the Internet nowadays, people are seeking if there's opportunity to make money from it. 

And then come the genuine opportunity to make money from internet advertisement. Before this people are talking about Google Ads. Later, there's regional and local advertisement companies like Nuffnang, Advertalets, Innity and the latest ManggaAd. Everybody wants to know about them, they want to know how much people have earned from those advert companies, are they for real, which one is better, how long does it takes for them to receive payout, and so on. 

Pictures of people receiving the cheque, showing their earnings, showing huge traffics on their statistics always attracts more people. And there's lots of bloggers who are  generous to share what they know on how to earn money online.  And of course, please put good title that indicates that you are sharing tips on making money online.

How to get more traffic to your blog : Tips 3

Hiya people. I intended to wrote about the 3rd tips on how to get more traffic last night. Again, I was dead tired. Apsal asyik penat je nih? Sign of ageing? Hahaha.Tonight I m writing it a lil bit early okay BluesCIvic, no more writing at the wee hours in the morning.  Anyways, let's just get to it. 

Tips 3 : If you are cute/pretty/handsome/gorgeous/good looking/well groomed;flaunt it!

People no matter what they say will always be attracted to beautiful things, in this case attractive bloggers. 

But you pretty thing out there, if you ain't got a personality or can't write, hmmm some of your readers may be discourage to come visit as often as you like. I give you few example of successfull blogger, who are getting tonnes of traffic, and have loyal readers, simply because they write interesting things plus they are good looking. 

Example : 

Hanis Zalikha, she's a famous blogger, and have tonnes of loyal readers. She's cute and her postings are cute as well. Advertisement companies like Nuffnang adores her. And her earning with Nuffnang is quite substantial.

Cheesie, another famous blogger. If you have never been to her blog, it's your lost. She is pretty and also witty. Her globetrotting around the world is also another reason for me to frequent her blog. Yeah, there's a lot of other travel blogs out there, but a pretty girl who's travel savvy and travel smart? I have only just started to read Darkbatman's blog. I stumbled upon his blog when I am researching about Nuffnang actually. He has a lot of good tips about Nuffnang and doesn't mind sharing it with his readers. He also gives health advice on loosing and gaining weight, gaining muscle and so on, and of course the beauty part of it is  he shows you how to do itlah. Another cute blogger is Redmmummy. She also has tonnes of readers. She won the Bloggers Idol 2006. She was also in Malaysia Fear Factor. She wrote simply of what's interest her like make-up,fashion, her daily routine, her travel. Her writings is simple and not too formal. And of course she's one hot mama. The above are some example of good looking people who have huge numbers of followers. Which often translated to being loved by advertising companies. So if you think that you are cute/pretty/handsome/gorgeous/good looking/well groomed or photogenic, don't blog anonymously. Put up your pictures. Readers love to put a face to all those postings. But be prepared to loose your privacy. Yes, you are a celebrity now.

For those who are shy and value your privacy or just don't think that putting up their face can drive traffic to their blog; don't fret. I'll put up a posting on personality, next. Stay tune for my next tips.

How to get more traffic to your blog : Tips 2

I owe you guys the next tips right? Back from work last night, I was dead tired and I hit the pillows at 9 pm. Terjaga at 3.30 am and remembered that I didn't write the next tips for how to get more traffic. Terus bangun and decided to write it. Talk about committed, huh? Gigih!

The next tip in this series is blog-walk, blog-jog or used to be called blog-hop. If you want more people to come to your blog, you gotta go to other people's blog. It's a promotion kinda thing. If you don't do that, who would know the existence of your blog.

When you arrived at someone's blog leave meaningful comments. Jangan main tepek jek comments that is irrelevant or copy-pasted from your previous comments at other people's blog, or kept saying, nice posting, nice blog. Dulu-dulu when we say that, it's genuine. Now it's the age where blogs are making money and relying on good traffic, commenting like that is not enough. Furthermore, there are berpuluh-puluh ribu bloggers out there in Malaysia alone. You gotta stand out.

Important for you to put your blog link, or link your latest post in the comment for people to memberi kunjungan balas. In order for your comments to stand out and attract other blog commenter/ readers to click at your blog link,  the comments must be sincere enough (as if you really read the postings, or witty and interesting enough for people to be curious, who's this dude, and click your blog. In short, komen-komen kenala berkualiti, bukan main tulis jek.

Oh and another thing, when people commented at your blog, go and do a kunjungan balas, and leave comment! This is to show appreciation. Unless kalau you dah jadik prominent bloggers and have tonnes of followers yang no matter what you write, you have already  established a loyal readers.

How to get more traffic to your blog : Tips 1

Atau dalam Bahasa Melayunya, Bagaimana menjana lebih trafik ke blog anda. I will be writing a series of tips on how to generate and attract more traffic to our blog. (with my ears hearing the rerun of Glee on the TV), I know you people are probably  laughing at me now.Traffic tak seberapa, nak cerita pasal attracting traffic. This posting is written from my extensive reading and research. Whether I have practiced all of them is another story. Biasalah aku, jenis-jenis cakap tak serupa bikin punya. Hahaha.  But I am sure if people use all this tips, they will sure to generate more traffic. 

Okay the trips are in no particular order. You can pick and choose which one you want. I don't copy paste from other people's posting. I am putting my observation in my own words (apsal defensive sangat nih?). Okay here goes;

Tips 1:

Write about sensational current issues. Things that people wanted to know more about.   Or  write about individual or group of people that the readers love to hate. More often than not, menyampah-menyampah pon, sometimes tangan tu gatal jugak nak google kan, if only just to say padan muka;u deserve it b*tch! hahahha. For example I know that writing about Tom Juara MyStar LG dipukul oleh keluarga mangsa or Tom Juara MyStar LG memukul mangsa yang sedang mengandung will get me tonnes of traffic. Because it's new, it's hot, it's still unresolved, and there's a lot of perspective to the story. As I said before people love to find someone to hate.

You should also write about things that is not all over the news. Or has appeared on the news but was sugar-coated or seemed to be hiding something. Some news that seemed fishy, or scandalous even though you don't even know the truth. Who cares about the truth, right? It's the internet! People just want juicy gossip. You can always give your personal opinion on it. Just see how many blogs are writing about gossips particularly celebrity gossip. Or compiled gossip. They are doing fine, fine, fine in the traffic business.

Anything that is controversial and sensational  is good for traffic. Especially if it's current. Didn't the bloggers had a field day when Sultan of Brunei divorced her second wife Azrinaz Mazhar. The papers only reported the divorce, but bloggers and celebrity website was having a blast speculating on the reason. Good traffic right? 

So jump onto the bandwagon. Write about sensational and controversial title. Be sure to write current ones. Don't write zaman tok kaduk punya controversi ya, soooo yesterday.
