Food fest - Part 1

Salam korang,

Sebelum bulan puasa bermula, baikler aku update pasal makan-makan trip aku last weekend. Yelah kalau dah start bulan puasa, tak elokla kot tampal gambar-gambar makanan nih. Kang meleleh air liur pulak.

Picture was taken when last weekend when me and my parents and siblings and anak-anak buah went for dinner at Red Wok Restaurant, Bangi. Masa tu Ed takde, dia outstation. Tapi dia dah pernah makan kat situ, so tak kisahlah pergi tanpa dia.

Sesampai je, ramai jugak orang. Weekends gamaknya. Suspen jugak aku takut makanan lambat sampai ke ape ke kan. Aku memang saspen kalau pegi makan bawak bapak aku tuh. Tapi dah sampai order jelah kan dan doalah jangan sampai termixed up order ataupun lambat. Alhamdulillah walaupun ramai oran,g servisnya sangat cepat dan makanannya sedap. Buttered prawn jek lambat sikit. Yang lelain ok. Aku order hampir sama dengan my first time eating here. Tapi ada few changes lah. I ordered :

Bangkok tomyam with coconut milk

Buttered prawns (ni gambar lama sebab gambar baru tak sempat nak ambik, sumer serbu, haha)

Nasiklerr

Fu yong fried eggs , kalau tak salah (telur dadar)

Baby kailan stir fried with dried fish

Kung Poh chicken (chicken with dried chili and cashew nut)

Sweet & sour fish fillet

Soft shell crab

Sizzling tofu

And 2 happy kids yang makan macam adults. Punyalah banyak makan nasik dua orang anak buah aku nih.

Semua gambar-gambar ni aku amek dengan kamera phone N95 aku tu jek. Takde derr aku bawak kamera aku everywhere. Tapi camera N95 ni okeyla gambarnya. Not bad for a phone camera. The whole meal cost me RM143. 6 adults makan dengan 2 kids yang makan equal to 1 adult, + 5 fruit juices, 2 ABCs and 3 barley drink + makanan yang sedap-sedap + servis yang bagus + surrounding yang bersih dan lapangv = sangat berbaloi. Ada rezeki kami anak beranak + menantu + cucu-cucu akan datang lagi. Yang kelakar masa aku makan berdua dengan Ed hari tu, around RM90++ gak kena. Imaginelah betapa banyaknya kami makan, muahahahah. So kalau makan ramai-ramai lebih berbaloi la kat Red Wok Restaurant ni. Boleh baca mengenai red wok tu di http://redwok.wordpress.com/ sambil-sambil menjamu mata tengok menunya.

Balik daripada makan-makan tu dah pukul 11 lebih. Malam tu aku tidur rumah parents aku, sebab Ed takde kat rumah. Mata aku dah berat dah tapi bapak aku insist soh kami buat karipap malam tu jugak sebab dia dah buatkan inti siang tadi. Pastu dia tanya aku bila nak buat dadih jagung tuh. Aku pon jerang ler air dalam periuk utk buat dadih jagung. Dapatlah dalam 20 container. Anak buah aku si Olyn yang tolong aku. Aku biasalah kalau masak-masak suka involvekan diorang ni. They really like to help. Biarler lambat sikit pon.


Karipap tu, actually aku dah maleh dah sebab leceh kan, memalam gitu nak buat, tapi sebab abang dgn adek aku on jek, aku pon buat kanlah doh kulit karipapnya. Tukang uli dan letak inti tu my two brothers with 2 small helpers, hehhee. Banyak gak diorang buat. 2 kali aku kena uli kulit karipap tu. maybe about a hundred or more karipap. Lepas tu bapak aku goreng half cook, so that tak melekat-lekat nak simpan and freezekan. Dan of course adalah yang dia goreng fully cook untuk kitorang nih melantak. Mama aku masa ni, dah tidur.

Raul Has bid goodbye to Real Madrid to join Schalke

Giler sedih aku. I have been Raul fan for the past errr almost 15 years I think. It was unfortunate that while he was still playing for the national team, Spain had never been the football giant they are now (as a national team). He got all kind of success at club level but I bet he was really sad, that he was left out during Euro, when Spain won. And during last World Cup, yelah he is already 33 kan masa tu. Anyways, I wish you all the best Raul, in your future endeavor. Oh ya, Mr.Dream shares the exact same birth date as Raul, hehehe.

Visibly shaken up and sad to leave behind the more than 15 years that he gave his all for Real Madrid, Raul Gonzalez held his final press shortly after his farewell event at Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

How to get more traffic to your blog : Tips 6

I found it so ironic that, I don't practice what I write on the tips so far, hence explaining my pathetic traffic. Hahahha. But I will still write! I know if people do use the tips they can get the traffic that they want. I guess I have 4 more tips to go before I am closing his topic. You can read the earlier tips from labels on the right hand menu. Okey next tip is : 

Update your blog every day

Muahahhaha, I know, I know I don't practice what I preach, but I learned from my readings  that all bloggers who are making big bucks with Nuffnang  or other ad companies and  get tonnes of traffic, update their blog almost every day. Sometimes few times a day. Damn, banyaknya idea.

Simple math is this, whenever you post an update, and you update your post at geng blogger, innit or go blogwalking while leaving a trace of your latest post, you can see the spike in your traffic right? For me, I update every other day. The day I post my posting will have a huge gap on the traffic with the day that I don't..Hishh apa cakap belit-belit ni. Owhh you know what I mean. 

So friends, try to update as often as you can. If you are a well known or a prominent blogger who already have loyal followers, update seminggu sekali pon tak apa. But for us who are still new in blogging world, or are really in the early stage of establishing followers or readers, kenalah update sekerap mungkin. Bosanlah orang kan, baru nak get to know us, asyik takde update jek, after a while they won't come back. And of course, updates must be berkualiti as well. 

Oklah people I am sooo mengantuk and tired, few weeks of lack of sleep and rest is really sapping my energy. Take care people. Till I see you for the next tips!

Aku balik jugak!

Salam korang. Iyer aku sangat berjiwa kental, bak kata kak Nonie. Aku balik jugak sorang-sorang ke kg Ed. The night before, Ed still said that it's totally up to me, tak nak balik pon takpe, just inform mak jelah. Yelah kang nanti orang tertunggu-tunggu pulak kan.

So Sunday morning, dalam bermalas-malasan dan dok berkira-kira nak balik atau tak, akhirnya after breakfast dengan my brother, aku pon naik dan gosok baju. Aku gerak lambat sikit, dan sampai kg dalam pukul 11 lebih gitu. Sesampai jek terus aku sms Ed, cakap aku dah sampai dan terus pergi tolong-tolong dekat dapur. Lepas tolong-tolong lebih kurang, semua orang keluar dari dapur for Zohor prayer. Aku pulak sebab tahu aku tak boleh stay lama terus basuh dulang-dulang dan bekas kuih-kuih tu, at least by the time aku nak gerak, dah banyak pinggan mangkuk yang dah berbasuh.

At 2.15 gitu tetamu dah mula sampai. Seorang makcik ni sampai, dan sembang dengan mak.

Makcik : Ni menantu ye?
Mak : Ha, isterinya Ed
Makcik : Ednya mana?
Aku : Dia ada main sukan makcik dekat Johor
Makcik : Eh anaknya mana? (sambil pandang aku)
Aku : ** here we go ** Belum ada lagi makcik
Makcik : Dah lama jugak kan kawennya?
Aku : Lamala jugak
Makcik : Berapa tahun dah tu?
Aku : 7 tahun makcik
Makcik : Oh dah lama. Dah diurut-urut?
Aku : Sudah cik.
Makcik : Dah pergi hospital. Jumpa doktor?
Aku : Sudah cik.
Makcik : Apa kata doktor?
Aku : Tak ada masalah cik.
Makcik : Dok asing-asing kot, sebab tu susah nak mengandung?
Aku : Dok sama cik.
Mak : Belum rezeki lagi lah tu.
Makcik : Anak makcik pon belum ngandung-ngandng tapi yelah dia dok asing2 dengan suami dia.

Aku pon angguk-angguk jelah kepala penuh understanding. Korang imaginelah, the above conversation took place while I flashed the makcik my sweetest smile. Later at 3.00 all makciks arrived. I braved myself, pergi sambut semuanya dekat muka pintu sambil hulur salam. Ada gak yang cuit-cuit perut aku sambil tanya, dah ada isi? Aku senyum2 jek, jawab blom.

They started with Yassin and later, surah-surah lazim and doa-doa for the tahlil arwah. Aku tak leh solat time tu so aku lepak dapur and prepare lah apa yang patut. I got an SMS from Ed.
Camne, so far? Tersengih jek aku kat dapur tu. baca sms dia. He's concerned. Yelah buatnya aku bantai nangih lepas kena usik-usik tu kan. Aku jawab, ada gak orang tanya2 but very mild lah. Alhamdulillah. U owe me a big hug.

At 5 lepas kemas-kemas sikit dan basuh pinggan, I head back home. Tah apa-apa lah aku nih, balik kg tu dah ok dah, bila balik rumah siap boleh silap-silap jalan lagi. But I arrived safely. cuma additional 45 minuteslah.. Hampeh.

Anyways, I'm glad I did it. I know Ed's happy that I went back, and of course my mom in law pon suka that aku balik tolong-tolong apa yang boleh. Ed, you owe my thousands of hugs ok. (patutkah aku mintak cam handbag or kasut ker, hahhaha)

How to get more traffic to your blog : Tips 5

I'd love to update but time is really not on my side. Updating now, whilst waiting for a call. Too much happening at the office has deterred my will to write. Nak menulis the next tips pon dah terganggu momentum. I don't know how people can squeeze time. At current, malam pon buat kerja. Work is killing me now. Serabut jiwa raga.  And I guess my theme for this blog has also played a hand in my semangat and the content I intend to write.

Tips 5 : The theme  of your blog is important, if you have few blogs. 

You can't be writing the same thing on each blog, right. Yes, you probably have different visitors and readers for your different blog, but you may have the same people. One blog you can write your daily happenings, but another two blogs? Takkan about your life jugak? How many life do you have? How interesting can your life be?

So the theme must help you in writing especially if you have multiple blogs. One of it writes about your life, another about travel, another about earning extra income, another about your hobby, hahah just a suggestion. If not you will run out of things to write. And when you run out of things to write, you won't update your blog as frequently. And when you don't update your blog frequently, you will loose your visitors and readers since they wont come and visit as frequently.

Waah I have completed another tips without intending to.. Hahahha. 

Off to mama's

I am off to mama's house. Jadik anak bujang kejap. Ed's not at home. Dia outstation sampai hari Ahad. Dia ada tournament volleyball. Every year dia akan cakap, this is my last tournament, ye lerrr tuh....Boring ahh dok sorang plus takut sikit-sikit, muahahhaha. So aku nak kemas barang gi rumah mak aku. Aku akan pack terus sampai ahad.

Err ahad pagi tu aku mungkin akan balik ke Kg Ed alone, without Ed. Tak pernah-pernah dibuatnya aku balik kg dia sorang-sorang for kenduri lak tuh. Serammmm.. Hahaha.. Nothing againts my in laws bukan aku seramkan diorang, aku lebih pada seram kan kenduri tu.. hahhaha. Yeah, yeah I am pathetic, so kill me. Korang biasa ke balik kg inlaws korang tanpa your spouse? untuk kenduri lak tuh? Nanti aku terbangak-bangak tak? hahhaha.

Oklah korang, kerja cam nak giler la sekrang nih, aku baru seronok nak update kerap-kerap nih.. Hampessss..

Muahahha. It looked like burnt kan. Tapi aku memang suka cheese tu cam burn-burn sikit. Auu rasa, aku tak suka sangat la mozzarella cheese yang putih ni, tak sedap sangat. Rasa susu sangat kuat. Mozzarella yang kuning sikit cam brand perfect Italiano tu lagi best.

Makan, makan dan makan. Makan sambil tengok biggest loser. Man, what's wrong with me? Terus sms member, babe jom gi gym esok inspired lah tengok Biggest Loser malam ni. Padahal rasa guilty makan baked macaroni tu sambil nengok orang battle to loose weight. Muahahahaha.

Write about how to genuinely make money online

People always wanna know about making more money. It'll be more perfect if they can make money by doing the things they love like something from their hobby such as cooking, crafts, blogging etc.  As more Malaysian become connected to the Internet nowadays, people are seeking if there's opportunity to make money from it. 

And then come the genuine opportunity to make money from internet advertisement. Before this people are talking about Google Ads. Later, there's regional and local advertisement companies like Nuffnang, Advertalets, Innity and the latest ManggaAd. Everybody wants to know about them, they want to know how much people have earned from those advert companies, are they for real, which one is better, how long does it takes for them to receive payout, and so on. 

Pictures of people receiving the cheque, showing their earnings, showing huge traffics on their statistics always attracts more people. And there's lots of bloggers who are  generous to share what they know on how to earn money online.  And of course, please put good title that indicates that you are sharing tips on making money online.

Yey..cek dari LHDN sudah sampai dan tabung travel

Salam kawan-kawan, Yey, cek sudah sampai. Cek dari LHDN. giler aa efficient. Minggu sebelumnya aku email. Immediately dapat autorespond. Esoknya dapat respond. Last week dapat surat macam yang aku update tu. Semalam cek dah sampai. Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah. Rezeki aku. Aku belum bank in lagi cek tu. That cheque will deposited into my travel tabung. Hahahha, dah ada berapa dalam tabung travel? hahah malu nak cakap. Baru beberapa ringgit, kekekke. Takpe campur cek dari LHDN nih okeyla sikit.

Aku ada beberapa bulan untuk menabung untuk travel nanti. As my friends from catchme27's blog tahu that I am going to somewhere in November. So kenala kumpul duit sikit. Tatau whether I can gain approval tak to extend my stay nanti. Stream Leader dari conference where I'll be presenting has called me. Maaakkk menggigil. He said that he wants to see me before the conference, to strategise and prepare before the actual conference. Errrr gigil lagi.

Oklah friends later ye. Nak masak baked macaroni. Dah lama tak baking sebab oven rosak or errr sebenarnya oven tak rosak. Plug je rosak hahhaha. I am not good at baking cakes or sweet deilcacies, aku reti buat yang savoury jek cam baked macaroni. lasagne and pizza. Okeyler nak gi masak jap. Macaroni dah lembut dah kot tuh. Okay people, see ya.

I am still disconnected

Yes, my streamy*x still down. Adoi, jiwa pon rasa down sama ikut streamy*x yang down tuh. Boleh la update bodo-bodo pakai 3G connection nih. Hopefully I can get it back tomorrow. Dah log report, eh silap Mr.Dream has logged the report. Thank you, babe. Hopefully I'll get connected tomorrow. Elok juga sebenarnya, I was a bit busy. Work i not killing me yet, but almost. So, this 'no internet' situation came at a good time. Buuuuttttt, must resolve ASAP.  Oklah, I'll rant non-stop nanti, So.. laterrr..

Hiya people. I intended to wrote about the 3rd tips on how to get more traffic last night. Again, I was dead tired. Apsal asyik penat je nih? Sign of ageing? Hahaha.Tonight I m writing it a lil bit early okay BluesCIvic, no more writing at the wee hours in the morning.  Anyways, let's just get to it. 

Tips 3 : If you are cute/pretty/handsome/gorgeous/good looking/well groomed;flaunt it!

People no matter what they say will always be attracted to beautiful things, in this case attractive bloggers. 

But you pretty thing out there, if you ain't got a personality or can't write, hmmm some of your readers may be discourage to come visit as often as you like. I give you few example of successfull blogger, who are getting tonnes of traffic, and have loyal readers, simply because they write interesting things plus they are good looking. 

Example : 

Hanis Zalikha, she's a famous blogger, and have tonnes of loyal readers. She's cute and her postings are cute as well. Advertisement companies like Nuffnang adores her. And her earning with Nuffnang is quite substantial.

Cheesie, another famous blogger. If you have never been to her blog, it's your lost. She is pretty and also witty. Her globetrotting around the world is also another reason for me to frequent her blog. Yeah, there's a lot of other travel blogs out there, but a pretty girl who's travel savvy and travel smart? I have only just started to read Darkbatman's blog. I stumbled upon his blog when I am researching about Nuffnang actually. He has a lot of good tips about Nuffnang and doesn't mind sharing it with his readers. He also gives health advice on loosing and gaining weight, gaining muscle and so on, and of course the beauty part of it is  he shows you how to do itlah. Another cute blogger is Redmmummy. She also has tonnes of readers. She won the Bloggers Idol 2006. She was also in Malaysia Fear Factor. She wrote simply of what's interest her like make-up,fashion, her daily routine, her travel. Her writings is simple and not too formal. And of course she's one hot mama. The above are some example of good looking people who have huge numbers of followers. Which often translated to being loved by advertising companies. So if you think that you are cute/pretty/handsome/gorgeous/good looking/well groomed or photogenic, don't blog anonymously. Put up your pictures. Readers love to put a face to all those postings. But be prepared to loose your privacy. Yes, you are a celebrity now.

For those who are shy and value your privacy or just don't think that putting up their face can drive traffic to their blog; don't fret. I'll put up a posting on personality, next. Stay tune for my next tips.

Makan-makan

Past few weeks ni ada jek makan-makan anjuran kawan-kawan sedepartment. Farewell 2x. Pastu birthday anak another colleague but she bought the cake for us. Later another farewell which was sponsored by another collegue. Dia dapat durian runtuh sikit. Increment aku secoet jek tahun ni. Tahla frust jugak sebenarnya. Kejer cam nak rak tahun lepas, tapi rating aku hampeh dan akibatnya increment jua seciput jek. Mula-mula tu aku bengkek sangat agaknya berubah muka aku bila HR kasi tau rating aku. Sebab I know my contribution last year was huge. Later aku pikir balik, that nak buat macamana dah itu yang Allah bagi untuk aku, kenalah aku redha. Ada lah tu perancangan Allah yang lebih baik untuk aku, yang aku tatau. Yakin okey cekna.

How to get more traffic to your blog : Tips 2

I owe you guys the next tips right? Back from work last night, I was dead tired and I hit the pillows at 9 pm. Terjaga at 3.30 am and remembered that I didn't write the next tips for how to get more traffic. Terus bangun and decided to write it. Talk about committed, huh? Gigih!

The next tip in this series is blog-walk, blog-jog or used to be called blog-hop. If you want more people to come to your blog, you gotta go to other people's blog. It's a promotion kinda thing. If you don't do that, who would know the existence of your blog.

When you arrived at someone's blog leave meaningful comments. Jangan main tepek jek comments that is irrelevant or copy-pasted from your previous comments at other people's blog, or kept saying, nice posting, nice blog. Dulu-dulu when we say that, it's genuine. Now it's the age where blogs are making money and relying on good traffic, commenting like that is not enough. Furthermore, there are berpuluh-puluh ribu bloggers out there in Malaysia alone. You gotta stand out.

Important for you to put your blog link, or link your latest post in the comment for people to memberi kunjungan balas. In order for your comments to stand out and attract other blog commenter/ readers to click at your blog link,  the comments must be sincere enough (as if you really read the postings, or witty and interesting enough for people to be curious, who's this dude, and click your blog. In short, komen-komen kenala berkualiti, bukan main tulis jek.

Oh and another thing, when people commented at your blog, go and do a kunjungan balas, and leave comment! This is to show appreciation. Unless kalau you dah jadik prominent bloggers and have tonnes of followers yang no matter what you write, you have already  established a loyal readers. 

Okaylah , tak larat nak eloborate further. So this is tips 2 of the series. I will write more. It's already 4.25 am, and I am signing off.

How to get more traffic to your blog : Tips 1

Atau dalam Bahasa Melayunya, Bagaimana menjana lebih trafik ke blog anda. I will be writing a series of tips on how to generate and attract more traffic to our blog. (with my ears hearing the rerun of Glee on the TV), I know you people are probably  laughing at me now.Traffic tak seberapa, nak cerita pasal attracting traffic. This posting is written from my extensive reading and research. Whether I have practiced all of them is another story. Biasalah aku, jenis-jenis cakap tak serupa bikin punya. Hahaha.  But I am sure if people use all this tips, they will sure to generate more traffic. 

Okay the trips are in no particular order. You can pick and choose which one you want. I don't copy paste from other people's posting. I am putting my observation in my own words (apsal defensive sangat nih?). Okay here goes;

Tips 1:

Write about sensational current issues. Things that people wanted to know more about.   Or  write about individual or group of people that the readers love to hate. More often than not, menyampah-menyampah pon, sometimes tangan tu gatal jugak nak google kan, if only just to say padan muka;u deserve it b*tch! hahahha. For example I know that writing about Tom Juara MyStar LG dipukul oleh keluarga mangsa or Tom Juara MyStar LG memukul mangsa yang sedang mengandung will get me tonnes of traffic. Because it's new, it's hot, it's still unresolved, and there's a lot of perspective to the story. As I said before people love to find someone to hate.

You should also write about things that is not all over the news. Or has appeared on the news but was sugar-coated or seemed to be hiding something. Some news that seemed fishy, or scandalous even though you don't even know the truth. Who cares about the truth, right? It's the internet! People just want juicy gossip. You can always give your personal opinion on it. Just see how many blogs are writing about gossips particularly celebrity gossip. Or compiled gossip. They are doing fine, fine, fine in the traffic business.

Anything that is controversial and sensational  is good for traffic. Especially if it's current. Didn't the bloggers had a field day when Sultan of Brunei divorced her second wife Azrinaz Mazhar. The papers only reported the divorce, but bloggers and celebrity website was having a blast speculating on the reason. Good traffic right? 

So jump onto the bandwagon. Write about sensational and controversial title. Be sure to write current ones. Don't write zaman tok kaduk punya controversi ya, soooo yesterday.

Cukai terlebih bayar

Masa isi borang BE untuk income tax april lepas, aku noticed that ada cukai yang terlebih bayar. Dek kerana kesibukan aku pon ignore je dulu dan tak buat apa-apa pun pasal cukai terlebih bayar tu. Banyak aku menyumbang kepada negara tahun 2009. Yelah aku bukannya ada kids untuk dapat tax deduction kan. So whatever that was deducted through PCB tu tu memang diserap terus ke pembangunan negara, ewah.

Lepas sibuk-sibuk tak hengat masa bulan Mei dan Jun lepas, ada my collegue cakap diorang dah dapat cek tax refund!! What?!!! Ni tak boleh jadi ni. Aku pon email LHDN, simple jelah emailnya, aku cuma bagi nombor income tax dan IC dan cakap aku nak request for refund. A week later.
Tadaaaa, menurut surat ni, aku punya cek sedang diproses, yeeehaaaa. Takdelah dapat ribu-riban, tapi siapa nak bagi aku RM309 kan, oklah tu. Tambah-tambah sikit dapat jam idaman aku, or a good handbag. Tengok tu, cek tak dapat lagi sebok dah berangan nak buat apa dengan duit tu, hishhhh.. Sukalah LHDN sekarang ni, efisyen. Tahun lepas aku dapat RM900++, lagi banyak. Joli katak aku dibuatnya. Tahun ni pesal tah tak sebanyak tahun lepas. Ada la kot tak betul ejas kot. Hahahha. Alhamdulillah. Seronok. Korang dah mintak refund?

Note : aku terpaksa letak kunci kereta untuk tutup nama dan address, thumbdrive tu pulak utk tutup income tax number. Yelah must practice to be safe online.

Jumping on the Nuffnang bandwagon

Dah habis World Cup, suddenly I don't know what to write. Lost...

Hahaha, I know, I know memang tertinggal keretapi. People have been signed up and earning since 2007, right? Yes, I was a skeptic. I don't really believe in earning money online, especially from blogging which I have been doing actively since 2005 until now. I probably didn't really take note on the business model, and perhaps because I haven't been around bloggers who have earned serious money from Nuffnang. Yelah, most of us blogs for fun, not to earn money. Buuuuuuuuut, if doing what you love can earn you money, why the heck not right?


From multiple reviews that I read, Nuffnang is a fast growing company and an honest and trustworthy internet advertising company. People really get paid from Nuffnang. And I think they got a good business model in getting the bloggers and the advertisers together.

So here I am, masih merangkak-rangkak trying to write what's on my mind. I have seen some bloggers do not really write but compiled news and articles on their blog to attract traffic. Power to them kan. Me, I probably will blog the old fashion way. And see, if by blogging what matters to me can earn me money. (maybe not kan, unless if I have followers dasyat-dasyat kan..hahaha) But, I am not disheartened. I will still try and put the Nuffnang ads up, even tho it appears lepas tengah malam je, hahahha and see what's in store for me.

Spain menang dan Ganti Puasa

Salam kawan-kawan,

Yehaaaa, Spain dah menang. Suke..suke..suke.. tak sesia aku berjaga nih haa. Kebetulan ada some personal matters nak buat esok pagi, terus aku cuti half day.

Alang-alang dah berjaga nih, aku sahur la apa lagi. Letih la wei mengganti puasa nih. Every year aku akan cakap, tahun ni aku akan ganti masa bulan Syawal. Aku takkan tangguh-tangguh dan ganti dalam masa-masa kecederaan dah. Yelah tu. Dan every year jugak masa bulan Rejab dan Syaaban la aku dok mengganti. Aperrlaa.

Tahun ni paling banyak kena ganti. Ada problem sikit so kena ganti dalam 15 days gitu. Giler punya banyak. Paling banyak aku kena ganti kot dalam sepanjang hidup aku. Dah ganti 7 hari pon ada 8 lagi. Maakkkk. Pengsan. Pastu kan dah tua-tua sikit ni bila ganti puasa tu, Ya Allah peningnya kepala bila dah petang-petang tu. Masa bulan Ramadhan aku rasa aku cergas jek. Kalau puasa ganti, lembik semacam. Hahaha. Rahmat bulan puasa kot.

Owh ok, Spain dah amek hadiah dan julang Piala Dunia, azan Subuh pon dah berkumandang, aku nak solat, dan nak tidor. Korang dah habis ganti puasa? Oklah , later people.

And Spain won!!

I am soooooo happy.

The game started a bit boring especially on the first half. Well, Spain normally played like that, I think. The second half was better. And the extra time? Wohooooooo!!

Their first time ever to win the World Cup! The world champion! They even prepared and wore the jersey which have 1 star. (1st time world cup champion) Talk about being prepared huh?

Anyways overall personally I don't think that Spain won because they played superb and magnificent football, for I think other country played better at times than Spain. But I think they won because they maintain level headed at all time and and when it mattered. We see great football team like German and Argentina which are quite superior on the pitch but crumbled when it mattered most.

Enough said. Viva Espana!!Oh yes, and Del Basque finally smiled, hehehe.

Spain - Netherland - The last game of World Cup 2010

Owh we are reaching the end of World Cup 2010. Time do flies huh. Viva Espana. I hope Spain wins. I watched the German-Uruguay game this morning. Why didn't Loew allows Klose to play? He could be the top goal scorer right? Alaa dia pon dah 32, kasi canlah. Next world cup sure he wouldn't be playing punya.

Anyways, again hope Spain will win.

Hahaha, Arena is back in public

Salam kawan-kawan. Entah bilalah nak ajak kawan-kawan lain ke sini. Aku nak biar ada sufficient content barulah agaknya nak invite all my current friends. Segan jugak sebenarnya. Gila banyak blog nak maintain. Betul ke tuh? Hahahaha.

I have been in hiding for almost 2 years now (blogging privately). There are pro's and cons of private blog, you can blog about anything under the sun, be amongst your friends or blog friends that you trust, tepek segala gambar without restriction (errr adalah restriction sikit-sikit kan, takkan takde langsung) and have the support of your trusted friends yang sama wavelength dengan ko. Tapi of course ada masa-masa aku missed nak blog in public. To read other people's point of view yang mungkin tak sependapat langsung dengan aku kan.

Takpe try dulu.

Fernando Torres last minute advert?

I just saw this as for the past few days. On the early days of World Cup or even few weeks prior to World Cup the two person appears most on our cable TV is Lionel Messi and Frank Lampard. I guess the cable TV had to have some fall back plan since those two have been out of the world cup quite early. So they are banking on Torres, and I guess they were really hoping that Spain will make it to the final.

Well last minute investment seemed to paid off, Spain is in the final so Torres was a good choice. And since he's playing in Liverpool, his English is quite alright. Sometimes he sounded better than the Englishman Lampard. Hahaha.

He seemed cute though in the advert. On the field he looked well, tahla definitely not that cutela. But Torres, why can't you score? Why? Are you saving the best for last? Hopefully he find his magic in the final;err if he even plays. hahahah. Anyways, go Spain go!!

p/s - Paul the squid has made his prediction already right? Spain all the way!!!

Kris Allen live in KL

Am currently watching Kris Allen live in KL. I kinda like him. He's not over the top glamorous like the other American Idol winner. He's definitely talented but he's keeping a low profile. He said he wanna be known for his work and talent.

Why oh why?

Grrr, I am so mad. Why oh why does the final is played on Monday morning. I know, it still Sunday in South Africa. Does it mean that I have to apply leave? Yes, I will do that. Owh Monday itu sungguh busy. Eh but the overseas conference call in in the afternoon. Hmm I can take half day leave to catch up on my sleep.

I'll probably do just that. That would also mean that I have to come early tomorrow, and settle lotsa things to take half day leave Monday. Monday morning, 2.30 am betul kan? Demi Spain, I will do it, even though that whole week is super-duper busy week. Anybody else taking leave for World Cup Final?

Spain is through to the Final!

Paul the octopus got it right again! Spain is through to the Final. I was hoping, but I have readied myself for a loss. Talk about not optimistic, huh?

I was on the phone with my bro through out the second half. First half, I was still sleeping. Kerja wei esok. He's a german and spain fan. But for this game he was rooting for German.

Ngantuklah, tak larat nak buat ulasan. After Spain scored (thank you Puyol), ada beberapa substitution. When German masukkan Gomez, my bro smsed Ah Gomez da masok, mmg xde gol la german.

The joke was, player mana, kalau dia masuk sure team dia tak score? Gomez. I never noticed this before. But apparently it's widely known amongst the German fan. I don't know why German didn't play well. Maybe they missed Mueller. Maybe because they are young team-the nerves got to them, or maybe because Spain scored first and lepas tu dok defend jek, so the Germans did not have the opportunity to counter attack. And of course Casillas did well.

Tak kisahla, yang penting Spain wins, I am happy!

I am giving myself a break from writing about football. Maybe one day break.Bosan tak asyik cerita pasal bola jek. Hehehe. Tomorrow or later I'll probably write about it again.


Just wanted to show off my new phone. Hehehe. Beside it is my old phone. Giler old fashion kan aku nih. I must say, that I am indebted to the old Nokia. The phone has been around since 2005 or 2006, and it's Mr. Dream's phone. He has moved on to other phone since then, but we always kept the old Nokia, as the fall back phone. Every time, our new phone is giving us trouble, we'll use the old Nokia. Very reliable, sturdy and get's the job done. For making and receiving calls and SMS, it's great. I think it's probably the first few model that has coloured screens. Hehehe.

Since last year, I have been using it back as my second phone. My main phone is a Nokia N95 which is provided by my company. I love N95. Except for the part that the battery cover is too fragile. Asyik patah jek. Dah tukar cover 2X sampai kadang-kadang pasang selotape, but the functionality rocks!

This E72 is a gift. I know, I know I'm a lucky girl. Dah berzaman tak pernah beli handphone sendiri. Still exploring the functions. I don't know why but it can't connect to my wireless at home like the N95. Have to expllore more I guess. And, I am not going to ask my IT guys to configure the push email function. No thank you. Nanti kena respond 24 jam jek, tak daya.

Anyway, I will still keep that old Nokia as the backup phone. Thank you, you have served us well.

No football for 3 days; I'm lost

I know, I know. Pathetic kan. Takde bola, terus lost tatau apa nak buat. But seriously, when you have been following the World Cup religiously for the past 3 weeks with multiple game per night, once it's on a break, you're kinda lost. At least I am.

I live in an apartment. Sometimes I do not have to watch the TV, and I know by the sound and cheers, someone had scored. Owh ada score, kalau dah baring nak tido pon, boleh bangun and on the TV, to watch the replay of the scored goal. Since yesterday, the block has been pretty quite. The mamak and arab stall/restaurant across the road pon sunyi sepi. People are probably catching up on sleep, kemas rumah, do laundry or whatever that they have been procrastinating to give way to world cup. Imagine our lives when it's totally over. Bosannyaaaaaaa.. Have to wait for 4 more years to get the feeling back, or at least another 2 years for Euro.

Since there's no game tonight and tomorrow, I guess it's perfect timing since I have lotsa catching up to do on my work. I have been putting some work off, due to some decision that I was made to wait. Since the decision, has swung(is it the past tense of swing?sounds funny) my way, I am on turbo gear to submit the work by 7th July. (it's already July? how time flies..) By the time I submit the work, the semi's will start. Immaculate timing. Ok people, later..

World Cup 2010 :German and Spain will meet at Semis

Whoo what a game yesterday. Paul the Octopus is right again! Tererlah Paul nih. Before the start of the German- Argentina clash, I thought they were even, 50-50 chance of winning. After the first goal at 3rd minutes by Mueller, I thought, man the Germans look really menacing. Argentina didn't play that bad in the first half, i think. But sloppy defense in second half just made it looked real easy for the Germans to score one goal after the other. The Argentine was thoroughly shredded into pieces.

I was in a discussion before this when I said that the German looked really strong and they got the pace. I was told that the German opponent lacked the pace, and the won just because of their pace not their footballing superiority. But then, the match yesterday showed otherwise, because Argentina does not lack of pace and footballing marvel. They just didn't play well yesterday or German didn't allow them to play their normal game. And yes, Maradona was crushed.

Next time Messi. Both are wearing number 10, hehe

The next game was, Spain vs Paraguay. Paraguay played a defensive game, and counted on counter attacks to create goal scoring chances. Giler berkumpul ramai-ramai depan gol. I think Spain was playing like headless chicken in the first half. Second half they created some chances but still weak in midfield. Passing cam haram jek, nasib baik Paraguay tak score. I think if they play like that against German, adios Espanyol! I was so upset with how they played. I think the midfield tak idup. Nasib baik ada Ineasta who created a lot of chances.

And of course thanks also to King Cassilas who had saved the penalty and the last minute attempt on goal by Paraguay. Cheis nasib jek korang lepas, Spain.

My bro said, he supported Germain, Holland and Spain in this World Cup. So he was quite happy with all the result. But, if this is the way Spain is going to play against German, sorry Spain, he'll be rooting for German. Me personally, I want Spain to win, but looking at how they played this morning. it didn't look like the traits of Champion. Not just this morning tau, in all game they looked quite nervous. Whatlaaa..

If I am a betting man, I would have lost!

Luckily I am not. So my money are safe. Pheww. You see, I am not a big Brazil fan. Not a even a fan kot. But, I would have never-ever put my money on Netherlands to beat Brazil. I think Brazil was a big bet for Final la at least. Yelah they got lotsa young legs this time. But, sebab young and hot headed la sampai kena buang padang tu kan. Pesal la you step on Roben tu. Budus, and you left your 10 countryman to find one more goal to equalize. Nangis Kaka. The Brazilian can't believe they are out! So the Netherlands are the first team to make to the Semis. Dasyat

Owh at the same time I am watching Wimbledon. Kesian wimbledon tak ramai orang tengok. Federer is already out. Kesian gak kan, semua iklan2 jam2 Rolex penaja Wimbledon tu featured him. (Does anybody else love the Rolex ad song? I do/ )Takpe cuba lagi next year. Currently Nadal is playing Andy Murray and leading by a set. Berdych has already booked a place in the Final by beating Djokovic. Nadal jumpa Berdych la kot in the Final. Ok sekian merapu di malam ini. Laterr....

Paul the Octopus picks German over Argentina

Hahaha, I heard about this at work this afternoon. Two of my office collesgue saw about Paul the Octopus in the news. I decided to find some info, and do a posting on this. Apparently this octopus has been dead-right on it's prediction previously on German Team's result through-out this World Cup. Paul the Octopus even predicted when German lost to Serbia.So what's Paul the Octopus prediction on German vs Argentina meet tomorrow?

Hahahha, sorry babe, he didn't picked Argentina. Agak-agak Maradona saspen tak? Muahhahha..
